Rabona.com has filed a $1.6 million lawsuit against Mike Tyson in London's High Court, claiming the boxing legend breached his brand ambassador contract to focus on his Netflix fight with Jake Paul.

The agreement, announced on February 6, 2024, required Tyson to conduct monthly livestreams on Rabona's Twitch and Kick channels, playing casino games while sharing boxing stories. The contract allegedly fell apart in March 2024 when the Tyson vs. Paul Netflix special was announced.

Medier, Rabona's UK-based parent company, claims Tyson's decision to prioritize training for the Paul fight resulted in €1.5 million ($1.6 million) in damages. The fight reportedly earned Tyson $20 million.

Tyson's company, Tyrannic, counters that Rabona breached the contract first. A spokesperson stated they terminated the agreement "to mitigate additional reputational harm to the Tyson brand" after Medier allegedly violated terms multiple times.

The November 15 fight has sparked additional legal troubles. A Florida resident filed a class-action lawsuit against Netflix, claiming poor streaming quality made the event "unwatchable" for millions of viewers. The suit alleges breach of contract and deceptive trade practices under Florida law.

The fight itself, which saw Paul defeat a visibly rusty 58-year-old Tyson, was widely criticized as underwhelming and overhyped by boxing fans hoping for a more competitive matchup.
