Norwegian Cruise Line Partners With Light & Wonder to Enhance Fleet Casino Experience
Norwegian Cruise Line has partnered with Light & Wonder (L&W) to introduce progressive table games across its entire fleet of 18 cruise ships. The agreement includes the installation of 200 GM Atlas systems, featuring progressives for blackjack and poker variants.

The new gaming experience will connect table games across vessels, offering passengers enhanced gaming options and larger potential payouts. Games include blackjack, let it ride, three-card poker, and ultimate Texas hold'em, with Norwegian's Breakaway being the first ship to receive the new L&W progressive tables.
Norwegian's Casinos At Sea currently features:
- Over 4,800 slot machines from Aristocrat, Everi, and IGT
- High-roller accommodations with slot bets up to $100 per spin
- Table game bets up to $5,000
- Cash-only transactions with ATM access
- Credit available for qualified guests (minimum $5,000)
- Popular table games including blackjack, craps, and roulette
The cruise line's casino rewards program allows passengers to earn points on both slot machines and table games. This partnership follows a broader industry trend of cruise lines enhancing their casino offerings, with competitors like Royal Caribbean, Crystal Symphony, and Carnival making similar upgrades to their gaming facilities.
Light & Wonder, formerly known as Scientific Games, rebranded in 2022 after selling its sports betting division to Endeavor Group ($1.2 billion) and its lottery division to Brookfield Business Partners ($6.1 billion).
