The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has announced Keith Whyte will step down as Executive Director, effective January 13, 2025. Nancy Green, FASAE, CAE, has been appointed as Interim Executive Director to ensure continuity of operations.

Green brings significant experience in association and nonprofit leadership, having recently served as Interim Executive Director for the American Sustainable Business Network. She emphasizes that NCPG's critical work in reducing gambling-related harm will continue uninterrupted during this transition period.

"NCPG's work in reducing gambling-related harm is too important to pause," stated Green. "The dedicated staff, committed board, and engaged stakeholders will continue driving essential programs and advocacy efforts forward while we chart the organization's next chapter."

NCPG board president Susan Sheridan Tucker expressed gratitude for Whyte's leadership and affirmed the organization's unwavering commitment to their mission of reducing gambling harm through awareness and advocacy efforts.

The Board of Directors plans to conduct a national search for a permanent Executive Director later this year.
