Atlanta rapper Lil Baby has admitted to having a gambling problem and has self-excluded from Las Vegas casinos after losing approximately $8-9 million during a 40-hour gambling session.

During an appearance on Lil Yachty's "A Safe Place" podcast, the Grammy Award-winning artist revealed he worked with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin to draft a self-exclusion letter to Las Vegas Strip casinos, effectively banning himself from gambling at these establishments.
The admission drew attention from fellow rapper 50 Cent, who compared Lil Baby's gambling habits to those of Floyd Mayweather, expressing surprise at the extent of the losses.
This revelation comes months after Lil Baby's August arrest at Encore Las Vegas for carrying a concealed weapon, though charges were ultimately dropped. While Nevada doesn't maintain a statewide self-exclusion program, individual casinos offer self-ban options at various entry points.
Despite his recent losses, Lil Baby has previously experienced gambling success. He claims to have turned a $60 loan from his sister into over $100,000 early in his career, primarily through dice games. In August 2022, he reportedly won $1 million at an MGM Resorts casino while playing baccarat, sharing his winnings with his entourage.
The rapper has achieved significant success in the music industry since his 2017 debut, including a Grammy Award in 2022 for "Hurricane" with Kanye West and The Weeknd, and an MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip Hop Video.
