Circa Survivor Week 12: Missed Entry and Commanders Loss Decimate Contest Field
In Week 12 of the Circa Survivor contest, significant drama unfolded both on and off the field, with a devastating missed entry and multiple eliminations reducing the contestant pool further.
From the initial 14,266 entries, only 96 remained entering Week 12, with each entry valued at $150,168. Four entries were eliminated before the weekend games - one due to a missed entry submission and three from picking the Pittsburgh Steelers, who lost to the Cleveland Browns.

The Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins were the most popular picks, each selected by 33 contestants. The Commanders' loss to the Dallas Cowboys proved particularly painful, as they missed a crucial extra point that would have forced overtime.

The missed entry situation garnered significant attention. According to Circa's rules, picks must be submitted by 4 p.m. PST every Saturday or before the selected game's kickoff, whichever comes first. This elimination was particularly notable given the record $14.26 million prize pool at stake.
The incident sparked widespread discussion on social media, with speculation about whether the missed pick was due to contestant error or a proxy service issue. Proxy services are commonly used by out-of-state participants since picks must be made within Nevada, despite Circa Sports operating in multiple states including Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, and Kentucky.
While the exact cause remains unconfirmed, industry experts suggest it was likely contestant error, as proxy services typically make picks on behalf of clients when deadlines approach.
