Chippendales Moving to Las Vegas Strip, Returns to Caesars with New Linq Show
Chippendales, the iconic male dance revue, is relocating to the Linq on the Las Vegas Strip after a 22-year run at the Rio. Their final performance at the Rio will be on New Year's Eve, with the new show launching January 14 at Mat Franco's theater.
The move marks a return to the Caesars Entertainment family for the renowned dance group, which has sold over 1 million tickets and performed approximately 9,000 shows at the Rio since 2001. The new venue at the Linq offers an increased capacity of 575 seats, compared to the Rio's 400-seat theater.

This transition comes amid recent developments, including the dancers' October 8 announcement to unionize, citing concerns over wages and health benefits. The Actor's Equity Association has filed an Unfair Labor Practices complaint with the National Labor Relations Board regarding alleged retribution against dancers supporting unionization.
The move coincides with operational changes at the Rio, which was sold by Caesars to Dreamscape Companies in 2019 for $516.3 million. Dreamscape took over operations in October 2023 after a leaseback agreement with Caesars ended.
Starting January 14, shows will run Tuesday through Sunday at 9 p.m., with additional 11 p.m. performances on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com, priced from $57.96 to $117.95.
