The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Hyatt Hotels Corporation have announced a long-term licensing partnership that will integrate the iconic Strip property into World of Hyatt's loyalty program ecosystem.

Starting in early 2025, World of Hyatt's 40 million members will be able to book stays at The Venetian through Hyatt's website and mobile app. Members can earn and redeem points on qualifying stays, earn Brand Explorer Award credits, and elite members will receive exclusive on-property benefits.

This agreement follows The Venetian's announcement to end its partnership with IHG in January 2025. While financial terms weren't disclosed, the collaboration aims to leverage Hyatt's extensive loyalty program membership base, similar to successful partnerships like Marriott-MGM Resorts.

The partnership extends beyond standard hotel stays, as both companies plan to collaborate in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) space. Additionally, elite Venetian Rewards members will receive benefits within the World of Hyatt program.

This marks Hyatt's second recent Las Vegas partnership, following the Rio Hotel & Casino's integration into World of Hyatt in late 2023. These strategic moves help Hyatt maintain a strong presence in Las Vegas after ending its previous loyalty-sharing arrangement with MGM in mid-2023.

The timing coincides with other loyalty program developments in Las Vegas, including Treasure Island's new Treasury Players Club, which offers more generous earning rates than competing programs from Caesars and MGM, allowing points accumulation for every $1.50 wagered on slots and $4.50 on video poker.
