NFL and FanDuel Fund $2.5M in Problem Gambling Prevention Grants through NCPG's Agility Program

The Agility Grants program provides funding to U.S.-based nonprofits for implementing problem gambling prevention programs in their communities. Funded by the NFL Foundation and FanDuel, it's the first national grant program of its kind, distributing over $1 million from 2022-2024, with an additional $1.5 million planned for 2025-2027.

Applications for Spring 2025 are open until February 26, 2025, 11:59 pm ET.

  • Must include evaluation component

  • Promotes new thought leaders
  • Supports community awareness
  • Prioritizes youth voices and leaders of color
  • Encourages new partnerships

Key Application Details:

  • Eligibility: U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations
  • Award range: $20,000 – $40,000
  • NCPG membership not required
  • One application per organization
  • Max 15% overhead costs allowed
  • Partners must provide support letters
  • Cannot fund treatment or responsible gambling programs

Target Audiences:

  • Students (middle school through college)
  • Student athletes
  • Communities of color
  • Populations at higher risk for gambling problems

Applications are reviewed based on:

  • Strategic alignment
  • Project feasibility
  • Impact potential
  • Organizational capacity
  • Budget effectiveness

Recipients must participate in a midyear check-in and submit a final impact report within one month of program completion.
