Key Football Rule Changes:

  • Injury Timeouts: Teams will be charged a timeout for injury stops. If out of timeouts, they'll receive a 5-yard penalty. After the two-minute warning, a 10-second runoff applies.
  • Player Count Violations: After two-minute warnings, defensive fouls with 12+ players participating will result in a 5-yard penalty. Offense can reset game clock.
  • Disconcerting Signals: Stricter enforcement against defensive actions meant to confuse offenses.
  • Uniform Standards: Enhanced compliance requirements for safety and uniformity.

Basketball Rule Changes:

  • Conduct Policy: Immediate removal and one-game suspension for physical contact or threats against officials.
  • Exhibition Games: Teams can now play two preseason games against any school, including Division I opponents, with flexible revenue allocation.
  • Replay Technology: Mandatory immediate review of baskets during potential off-ball fouls.

2025 CFP National Championship Favorites:

  • Ohio State Buckeyes
  • Texas Longhorns
  • Georgia Bulldogs
  • Oregon Ducks

Recent Champions:

  • Women's March Madness: Connecticut Huskies
  • Men's March Madness: Florida Gators

These changes aim to enhance game safety, fairness, and overall experience for both players and spectators while maintaining competitive integrity in college sports.
