A series of casino-related crimes have recently occurred across multiple U.S. locations, with authorities making several arrests and conducting ongoing investigations.

At Sky River Casino in Elk Grove, California, police arrested Nathanuel McCowan, 49, for the alleged murder of his wife Laketha McCowan. The incident occurred on February 26, 2023, on the Edwards Avenue ramp off Interstate 580 in Oakland, where the victim was found deceased from a gunshot wound. McCowan was booked into Santa Rita Jail following a warrant from Alameda Superior Court.

In Arizona, Paradise Casino authorities are searching for two men involved in a disturbance, with one suspect reportedly brandishing a firearm. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, though no shots were fired.

Mississippi's Riverwalk Casino Hotel reported a possible shooting in their parking garage last Saturday around 7 a.m., involving an employee. The Vicksburg Police Department is investigating the incident.

In Pennsylvania, Macy Wilson, 35, faces charges for allegedly stealing $9,500 in gambling chips from Hollywood Casino in Grantville on December 8. Wilson fled through a bus exit but was later apprehended at a nearby hotel. He faces robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property charges, with bail set at $500,000. State Police are investigating his possible connection to a larger crime ring.
