The new 1,000-square-foot gaming space features 29 slot machines and three live dealer table games, including blackjack, American roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. The vessel embarked on its maiden voyage from Venice, Italy, on a four-day journey to Croatia.
This landmark development follows Crystal Cruises' acquisition by A&K Travel Group, owned by Italian billionaire Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio and Geoffrey Kent, for $128 million. The company invested significantly in renovating both Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, with particular attention to modernizing their casino facilities to match Monte-Carlo's luxury standards.
Crystal Serenity will debut its slightly larger Casino de Monte-Carlo on December 18, featuring 32 slot machines and three table games.
The partnership represents a natural alignment between two luxury brands, with Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer's 160-year legacy in gaming excellence complementing Crystal Cruises' commitment to upscale travel experiences. The Government of Monaco maintains a nearly 60% stake in the original Casino de Monte-Carlo, which has been operating since 1865.
Lefebvre, who resides in Monte Carlo and is worth over $1.6 billion, previously sold Silversea Cruises to Royal Caribbean Group for $1 billion plus a 2.5% stake in the company. His deep connections to Monaco and the gaming industry make this partnership particularly significant for both brands' future growth.
