Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana will open its doors on February 13, 2025, in Bossier City. The $270 million resort represents The Cordish Companies' latest expansion into the Louisiana gaming market.

The new casino features:

• 1,000 slot machines
• 40 live dealer table games
• High-limit gaming room
• Sportsbook
• 47,000-square-foot gaming floor

The property includes a fully renovated 12-story hotel with 549 guestrooms and suites, starting at $399 per night. Resort amenities feature:

• Resort-style pool
• Fitness center
• 25,000-square-foot Event Center
• 31-site RV park with full hookups
• 30,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space

Dining options include:

• Sports & Social sports bar and restaurant
• Luk Foo Asian restaurant featuring Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine
• The Prime Rib steakhouse specializing in chops and seafood

The casino replaces the former Diamond Jacks property, which Cordish acquired in April 2023. This new development aims to revitalize the Bossier City/Shreveport gaming market, which has seen declining revenues in recent years, dropping from $667 million in FY2016 to $517.7 million in FY2024.

John Chaszar, executive vice president and general manager, describes the property as "a one-of-a-kind destination" that will offer "a top-tier gaming and entertainment experience unmatched in the four-state region."
