The new sportsbook facility will feature six DraftKings betting kiosks and one over-the-counter window, located next to the casino's sports bar. Customers must be 21 or older to participate.

Wisconsin currently permits sports betting only in tribal casinos with amended gaming compacts. The Lac du Flambeau Band received approval for Class III gaming (sports betting) from the National Register on April 9, 2024, becoming the seventh Wisconsin tribe to offer sports betting services.

Key Details:

  • Launch Date: August 28, 2024
  • Location: Lake of the Torches Resort Casino
  • Facilities: 6 betting kiosks, 1 counter window
  • Age Requirement: 21+
  • Market: DraftKings' 28th U.S. state

While online sports betting remains illegal in Wisconsin, the Oneida tribe currently operates its own betting app for use within tribal property. DraftKings has not announced plans for a similar app-based service at Lake of the Torches.

The partnership marks another significant expansion for DraftKings, which already operates in 27 states, Washington, D.C., and Ontario, Canada. The launch remains subject to final licensure and regulatory approvals.
