Double Shooting at Suspected NYC Underground Gambling Den Leaves Two Hospitalized
Two men were shot during a suspected robbery at an alleged illegal gambling establishment in Queens, New York on Thursday night around 9:20 p.m.
A 37-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head and remains in critical condition at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. A second victim, age 42, was shot in the cheek and is also receiving treatment at the same facility.

The NYPD is searching for three Hispanic male suspects who fled the scene on Haight Street in Flushing in a white SUV with possible front-end damage. A female may have also been in the vehicle.
Local business owners report that several underground gambling operations exist in the area, though violence is uncommon. One nearby worker expressed concerns about safety, stating plans to relocate due to dangerous conditions in the neighborhood.
Police have cordoned off the crime scene and are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects, who remained at large as of Monday according to WPIX.
