Cleveland native Jake Paul will face former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in a sanctioned boxing match at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on August 29th. Unlike the exhibition Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather bout, this is an officially sanctioned 8-round boxing match with formal scoring and a declared winner.

Paul enters as the -156 betting favorite, coming off a knockout victory over former UFC fighter Ben Askren. While Woodley (+150) ended his UFC career with three straight losses, he brings extensive boxing training experience to this matchup.

Both fighters have predicted they will win by knockout. The odds and recent performances suggest Paul may have the advantage, though Woodley's combat sports pedigree makes him a dangerous opponent. A late-round knockout seems likely rather than an early stoppage.

This high-profile event continues Cleveland's successful run of hosting major sporting events, following the MLB All-Star Game and NFL Draft in recent years. The matchup between the hometown Paul and decorated MMA veteran Woodley adds another exciting chapter to Cleveland's sports legacy.
